Betsy was whelped 3/7/05. She stands 21" and weighs 45 pounds. Her sire, Bill Renihan's "Czar," is very well known at stockdog trials on the West Coast. Trained and handled by Merle Newton, Czar quickly proved himself as a top cow dog. In 2007, he won the prestigious Crystal Rose Cow Dog trial -- the only dog with a perfect score in this two-day competition (with 100 or so top dogs competing).

We had a chance to watch Czar compete in the World Championship Rodear and were very impressed. Not surprisingly, his daughter is quite talented as well. Betsy is quick, cowy, gutsy, and as smart and trainable as they come. Her pedigree boast some of the top cow line in the country and her puppies are proven performers.

Betsy belongs to our son, Clay, who has been raising quality puppies since 2007. Just check out his testimonials! All net proceeds from his litters have gone into his college fund.
